ELIZABETH LAKE LOVETT is an Accredited Member of the American Society of Appraisers with a specialty designation in Fine Art; she has worked in the art world and appraisal field for the past 20 years. 

Elizabeth is an avid student of the international art markets, and her experience with museums, auction houses and galleries, both in the United States and abroad, has given her a breadth of understanding of its different layers and components.

Elizabeth received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, where she majored in Art History.  She went on to study at Sotheby’s Institute in London and then to receive her Masters Degree in Art History from the University of Denver. 

The appraisal field is a natural fit for Elizabeth as it combines her love of research and writing with her interest in market trends and the business side of art.
